Leave a lasting legacy
At the very heart of Avonbrook there lies a legacy. Michael Amherst set up Avonbrook Projects Abroad with the proceeds of his share of the site sale of The Abbey School, Tewkesbury which was founded and owned by his father, Miles Amherst. When the life of the school came to an end, Michael used his share of the sale proceeds to found a charity to continue the legacy of providing education to those most in need.
Many people decide to continue their own legacy by leaving a gift to a chosen charity in their will. Avonbrook chooses to support long-term sustainable education projects so you can feel assured that your gift would make a real and lasting difference to a community in the developing world.
All you need to do is mention to your solicitor, when creating or updating your will, that you would like to leave a charitable gift.
