Avonbrook Projects Abroad launches in the House of Lords
Avonbrook founder, Michael Amherst, has officially launched the charity at an event held in the House of Lords. Baroness Thomas of Winchester hosted the charity launch which provided the Avonbrook Board of Trustees with an opportunity to thank invitees for their help in launching the charity and to introduce Avonbrook and its objectives to the world at large. Also in attendance was Irenee Rajaona-Horne of Money for Madagascar, who paid tribute to the work funded by Avonbrook at Akany Avoko – a children’s home providing refuge and education to over 120 abandoned children.
